Prof. (Dr) Dharmendra S Sengar is an Adjunct Faculty in the Area of Humanities, Arts, And Social Sciences at IIM Nagpur.

Prof. Sengar has previously been associated with the Indian Institute of Management Lucknow as founding Chairman and Professor of the Legal Management area since 1999. Prof. Sengar has been the Director / Vice-Chancellor of the Indian Law University (Deemed Central University), New Delhi, and the Vice-Chancellor at Mohanlal Sukhadia University, Udaipur, Rajasthan.

Prof. Sengar is a Member of the Accreditation Advisory Council of India under MoE, GoI. He is also the Member, Advisory Board, Atal Incubation Centre, JNU. He has also worked as the Member of the Steering Committee of Planning Commission of India on Environment and the Restatement of Law Committee of the Supreme Court of India. Prof. Sengar has contributed as the Member, Board of Studies, All India Management Association, New Delhi, and the Board of School of Management and Entrepreneurship, JNU. He has also contributed as a Member of the Doctoral Committee of VU University, Amsterdam, Netherlands.

Prof. Sengar completed his Ph.D. from Lucknow University. He was honoured with the Senior Fulbright (Post - Doctoral) Fellowship in the area of Environmental Law and Management at George Washington University, Washington DC. He is the first Indian to receive the prestigious Shastri Indo-Canadian Institute (Post-doctoral) Fellowship in the area of Environmental Law and Management at the Canadian Institute of Resources Law University of Calgary, Canada. Prof. Sengar has more than three decades of experience in Academics, Administration, Law, and Management.

His teaching and research interests include Corporate Law, Management and Governance, Business Ethics and CSR; Disaster Management; Water Resource Management; Renewable Energy; Environmental Law and Management; Sustainable Development and Climate Change; Intellectual Property Law and Management and Negotiation and Leadership and Business Negotiations, etc.
