Indian Institute of Management Nagpur (IIM Nagpur), being a new generation IIM, aims to create value-driven leaders, global managers, and entrepreneurs with strong conceptual foundations and analytical approaches to help them be in whichever field they choose. The aim is to innovatively address modern India’s needs and connect aspirations and realities to attain internationally respected benchmarks. IIM Nagpur is gradually increasing its portfolio of activities to fulfil these objectives.
The Director provides academic leadership and administration to the Institute under the overall guidance of a highly distinguished Board of Governors. The Director of IIM Nagpur would have the responsibility to execute the Vision and Mission of the Institute and bring it up to global standards.
Applications for the post of Director, IIM Nagpur are invited from distinguished professionals and academic administrators who possess the following eligibility criteria:
- The applicant should be a distinguished academician with first-class degrees in both Bachelor’s and Master’s level, and a PhD or equivalent from a reputed institute having at least fifteen years of teaching or research experience.
- The applicant should have worked as a full-time Professor at a reputed institution for at least seven years; or should have industry experience at a higher level for at least fifteen years. This experience will be reckoned as on the last date of Application.
- The applicant should be Indian Citizen or Overseas Citizen of India (OCI).
The Search-Cum-Selection Committee (SCSC) will consider applications fulfilling the above criteria, received in response to this advertisement. The entire appointment process shall be as per the provisions of IIM Act 2017 and IIM Rules 2018 as amended from time to time.
Selected candidates shall have an appointment for five years or until attaining the age of superannuation of 70 years, whichever is earlier.
