Job Description:

The person will lead the operations of HR department. He/She is expected to continuously improve the HR systems of the Institute based on the best practices of the industry. Duties and responsibilities of the appointed person will include but are not limited to following:

  • Manpower Planning, Department expansion of Non-teaching staff and Faculty.
  • Responsible for timely Recruitment of Faculty and Nonteaching staff as per Sanctioned vacancies.
  • Ensuring compliances of Reservation Roster, Replying for RTI & Management Division communication.
  • Annual HR Budgeting and monitoring.
  • Annual work norms of Faculty & Performance appraisals exercise of Nonteaching staff.
  • HR Policies – Planning, Development, implementation and further revision.
  • Responsible for salary bills administration – Allowances, increments, benefits and promotions.
  • Employee welfare activities – SDA, Mediclaim insurance etc.
  • Supporting in disciplinary, employment related matters of faculty & staff to CAO.
  • Support CAO & Director for disciplinary and allied matters of faculty & staff.
  • Planning of Training & Development of the employees.
  • Any other co-aligned matters assigned by institute from time to time.


Qualification:

  • Post Graduate/Masters degree in HR/Personnel Management.

Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Adept in drafting proposals and policy documents.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS-Office tools such as MS-Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.
  • Sound knowledge of labour laws for monitoring the outsourced manpower services.
  • Good presentation skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a team person.

Experience:

  • At least 10 years of post-qualification experience is essential. Experience in Autonomous Bodies or large Academic Institutions like IITs, IIMs or CFTIs is desirable.

Age: Min. 35 – Max 50 years

Reporting to: The selected person will report to Chief Administrative Officer.

Salary & Allowances: Selected candidate will be offered a fixed term appointment for a period of upto Three years on IIM Nagpur contract on a consolidated monthly salary on CTC mode equivalent to Level 10 of 7th CPC. The contract may be extended further based on performance / satisfactory discharge of duties and institute’s requirements.
