Mr. Tonomura currently heads the Financial Service APAC business in Capgemini, covering four key locations: Australia & NZ, Japan, South East Asia & India (including Hong Kong & Taiwan), and the Middle East. Mr. Tonomura joined Capgemini Group in Singapore in the middle of 2012 and has grown the FS Asia business by seven times in the last eight years. He turned the loss-making & troubled FS South East Asia unit to the highest producing and most profitable team while successfully re-opening Japan business, which Capgemini once closed and sold off in 2005.

In order to regain growth and profit in South East Asia, he formulated and executed a strategy to focus upon key accounts, key solutions, and transformational deals, including core banking, core insurance, and next-gen ADM/QA, with emphasis on digital/cloud/data. Shin and his team worked on offshore IT captive & ODC build for top Singaporean bank, Enterprise IT transformation for leading Australian bank, digital transformation for top Asian insurer, e-wallet strategy for the consortium of 20+ banks in UAE, core platform re-build for leading public sector bank in India, etc. Previously,
