International Immersion Program (IIP)-Japan
The IIP-Japan is a second-year elective course offered every year to the second-year MBA students of IIM Nagpur. As part of this course, students get the opportunity to visit Japan and learn about Japanese businesses, culture, and customs. Visits have included a tour of the Toyota Factory, a visit to Japan Airlines Headquarters and Airport Facilities, Seven-Eleven Headquarters, Hakkaisan Sake Brewery, a visit to Rakuten Headquarters at the Crimson House, and a visit to the Mitsubishi UFG Financial Group Headquarters.
Students also get the chance to visit rural Japan, traditional business houses (e.g., Japanese kitchen-knife manufacturers and stationers) based in Kyoto, and talk to young entrepreneurs based in Japan.
