IJRC Speaker Series: Arundhati & Rahul Deo – “Entrepreneurship Journey of Tokyo Bakery ”
The Tokyo Bakery was started by the husband-wife duo, Rahul and Arundhati Deo in 2017. It is a first of its kind, Japanese Artisan Bakery, operating out of Baner (Pune, Maharashtra). The philosophy of the bakery is that the only way bread must be enjoyed is Fresh Out of the Oven. Their specialities include the super fluffy Japanese Bread, along with other bun-based snacks and savoury goodies.
Mr Rahul left behind his lucrative career of 18 years in the IT field in Japan to pursue his passion which resulted in the founding of the ‘Tokyo Bakery’. His ultimate wish is to popularize the concept of ‘bakery cafés ‘, delivering wholesome, healthy and fresh bread to their communities.
