IJRC Speaker Series : Kala Ramesh & Gopalan Mullik – “On the Cut ”
The Indo-Japan Research Center (IJRC) at IIM Nagpur is delighted to announce an interaction between Ms Kala Ramesh (poet, editor, anthologist, haikai proponent) and Prof. Gopalan Mullick (Film Theorist, Visiting lecturer at St Xavier’s College, Kolkata) on the topic ‘On The Cut: A Haiku Poet, and a Film Theorist and Academician.
The discussion, moderated by Prof. Rahul Kumar Sett, will explore the concept of the ‘cut’, crucial in filmmaking as well as haiku, a Japanese form of short poetry.
