Harvest season is a call for celebrations and joy across India.

Everyone enjoys Bhangra and Giddha on the beats of dhol, thank the Almighty for the bountiful harvest, and offer prayers to express gratitude to the Agni and Sun God. Delectable snacks made of sesame, jaggery, and peanuts are relished dancing around the bonfire with all your friends and family on the festival of Lohri and Bhogi.

Kites soaring high in the skies, the sun enters Makar to intensify the rays, the crops are harvested to cheer up smiles, sizzling bonfires keeping you warm in chilling winters, Surya Pooja brings a hint of spirituality and being with friends and family with the sense of togetherness; all these characterize this time of the year.

Students at IIM Nagpur will be celebrating the first festival of the year 2021 with a fun quiz game and twirling on the music to express their excitement and happiness in positive anticipation as to how the year unfolds.

May the heavenly taste of Ven Pongal and the sweetness of Chakkarai Pongal and jaggery bring happiness in all our lives on the auspicious day of Makar Sankranti, Bihu, Pongal, and Uttarayan.
