As a part of HR-Talks’21 series, tHRive, HR-SIG of IIM Nagpur had the pleasure to host Mr. Yashwant Chauhan, Senior Manager- GAIL Limited. The session centred around how we are moving towards technological upgradation and continuous innovation; and how important it is to think and take action by understanding sustainability of changes. HR is not just limited to the role of corporate employee, but also responsible for people transformation and for sustainable changes in the entire society. We got to know the example where GAIL, on one side took care of its employees in a pandemic situation by providing facilities within their plant and on the other side it is also promoting natural gas (CNG,PNG) and contributing to sustainable development of the country. Also, in these unprecedented times, skill development initiatives can help to achieve the sustainable goals which are closely interlinked to each other.
