आगामी कैम्पस

भा. प्र. सं. नागपुर के स्थायी कैम्पस का निर्माण डॉ बाबासाहेब आंबेडकर नागपुर अंतरराष्ट्रीय हवाई अड्डे से 9 कि. मी. दूर दहेगाव मौज़ा, मिहान में किया जा रहा है।

600 छात्रों के लिए बनाए जाने वाले इस कैम्पस को कक्षा के अंदर और बाहर ज्ञानार्जन की प्रक्रिया सरल करने के साथ-साथ, पर्यावरण पर न्यूनतम भार देने के लक्ष्य से विकसित किया जा रहा है। कैम्पस का निर्माण तीन चरणों में होगा।

पहले चरण में लगभग 60,000 वर्ग मीटर क्षेत्र विकसित किया जाएगा, जिसमें आधुनिकतम शैक्षणिक संकुल, ग्रंथालय, प्रशासकीय खंड, छात्रावास, क्रीडा संकुल और संकाय निवास बनाए जाएंगे। कैम्पस में संस्थान के कार्यकारी शिक्षा कार्यक्रम के लिए प्रबंधन विकास केंद्र और इनफेड (भा.प्र.सं. नागपुर उद्यमिता विकास फाउंडेशन) के लिए भी स्वतंत्र इमारतों का निर्माण किया जाएगा।

Proposed Permanent Campus of IIM Nagpur: A Walkthrough

On 17 Sep 2018, the Government of India, Ministry of Human Resource Development, approved the establishment and operationalisation of the permanent campus of IIM Nagpur (Phase 1), under which an area of 61, 617 sq.m. is being constructed, to cater to a student strength of 600, for an approved cost of Rs 379.68 Cr.

The work for Phase 1 commenced on 07 May 2019, with M/s Ahluwalia Contracts (India) Limited as the executing agency (Contractor). Engineers India Limited (EIL), a PSU, has been appointed as the Project Management Consultant.

The scope of work includes 33 buildings, to include Academic Blocks, Administration Block, Faculty Block, Multipurpose Hall, Students Hostels, Dining Hall, Sports Complex, Essentials Block, Faculty and Staff Residences and Engineering Support Centres, along with external services.

In order to commence operations from the new campus with effect from Academic Year 2020 – 2021, IIM Nagpur categorised the infrastructure by priority, as Priority 1 and Priority 2, with the aim of completing Priority 1 buildings by 31 May 2020. The work was progressing at the desired speed to achieve the target. However, there has been a delay in the progress, consequent to the outbreak of CoViD-19. Now, after remobilization of the resources, it is expected that the work will commence very soon.
