NAGPUR: Experts from across the globe will participate in the IFIP WG 8.6 conference scheduled to be organized at IIM Nagpur on December 15 & 16, 2023. The delegates will deliberate on the adoption and diffusion of emerging technologies.
IFIP WG8.6 was established in the early ‘90s “to foster understanding and improve research in practice, methods, and techniques in the transfer and diffusion of information technology within developed systems, and in the development process.”
The focus of this event is particularly on understanding the diffusion and adoption of emerging information technologies and systems (i.e., Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain, Fintech Applications, Internet of Things, and Social Media), which are expected to have a substantial impact on the future economic development of society, organizations, and individuals.
