“IIM Nagpur was delighted to host Mr. Gowtham Kumar, Branch Manager at Pidilite Industries Ltd., as part of the leadership series INSIGHT 2020 organized by MarX – The Marketing Club of the Institute.
The topic of discussion was “Demystifying Sales”. Mr. Kumar elaborated upon the distinction between sales and marketing, citing different brands owned by Pidilite. The session also covered the different roles and responsibilities of a Branch Manager encompassing various domains, along with a few key initiatives taken by Mr Gowtham to promote the product Roff. The session concluded with a QnA round with tips and advice for a successful summer internship.
