Gunjan Tomer is a faculty in the Information Systems area at IIM Nagpur. She holds a doctoral degree in Information Systems  from IIM Indore. She was previously engaged with IIM Raipur and IFMR Chennai as an Assistant Professor. She regularly publishes in the top rated journals in her area. Her papers have been selected in top international conferences such as AOM (Academy of Management), ECIS (European Conference on Information Systems), PACIS (Pacific Asia Conference on Information Systems) and EGOS (European Group of Organizational Studies).  She is also a “Dale Carnegie” certified professional educator.

Prof Gunjan is also heading the Mahatma Gandhi National Fellowship program under MSDE, GoI. She is also a Program Director for the Certificate Program in Blockchain Technology. She also heads the ICT committee at IIM Nagpur.

Her teaching interests include Digital transformation, Entreprise Information Systems, Qualitative research and Theories in Information system. Her research interests include Socio technical systems, ICT for social development and IS Project management.

Prof Gunjan have served in various administrative positions as member and chairperson of core committees. Currently, she chairs  ICT at IIM Nagpur. She is also a program director for the Certificate program in Blckchain technology.
