No. The regular PhD at IIM Nagpur is a full-time residential programme. Part-time option is available only under the Executive PhD Programme.

Application And Admission Process
You can apply through the online application form available on the IIM Nagpur website during the admission cycle.
Admission is based on the shortlisting of application on the basis of test scores (CAT/GRE/GATE/GMAT/UGC-NET/JRF depending on the area), overall profile, and personal interview rounds.
Yes, you can apply for a maximum of two areas and mark your preference accordingly.
We assess candidates based on their research interest, basic understanding of their chosen area, clarity of research purpose, and readiness for a research-focused PhD.

PGP (Full-time) alumni of any IIM who have graduated within the past three years will get a waiver from appearing for the screening examinations provided they have graduated with a minimum CGPA equivalent to 60%.

Financial Requirements
Yes, a refundable seat confirmation fee of INR 50,000 has to be paid during admission. For refund related queries, kindly refer to the admissions page.
There is no fee for the course and accommodation is free of cost.
Financial assistance is provided for four years i.e the specified duration of the programme.
You have the option to choose either JRF or institute funding during the admission process.
INR 150,000 and INR 20,000 for attending one international and three domestic conferences, respectively, for meeting all the expenses.
