Programme Curriculum

The curriculum of the Blended MBA for Working Professionals Programme at IIM Nagpur is thoughtfully designed to provide a strong foundation in core management disciplines while allowing for advanced specialization in the second year. It integrates academic rigor with real-world relevance, equipping participants with the skills, tools, and perspectives needed to lead in today’s dynamic business environment.

Structure Overview

  • Duration: 2 years
  • Format: Live Online (Interactive) sessions + 4 Campus Immersion modules
  • Total Hours: Minimum 840 hours
  • Total Credits: 84 credits

Year 1 – Core Courses (Terms I to IV)

Participants complete 19 core courses across four academic terms. These courses cover fundamental areas such as:

The core curriculum comprises 480 hours of foundational coursework.

Year 2 – Electives and Field Project (Terms V to VIII)

In the second year, participants have the opportunity to tailor their learning experience by choosing from a diverse portfolio of over 60 elective courses* across key management domains. This flexibility allows them to align their academic journey with individual interests and professional aspirations. A minimum of 300 hours must be completed through elective courses.

Participants must complete a total of 480 hours of core courses. In addition, they are required to complete a minimum of 300 hours through electives, along with a mandatory 60-hour field project in the final term. The field project offers an opportunity to apply concepts in a real-world business context under faculty guidance.
