Programme Structure & Curriculum

The two-year programme is delivered in a blended learning format, combining structured classroom engagement with flexible learning opportunities. The curriculum is designed to provide a strong foundation in management concepts while enabling participants to develop specialized knowledge and practical capabilities.

The curriculum features a contemporary course design, benchmarked against leading international and Indian management institutes, ensuring relevance to evolving industry and managerial requirements.

The programme comprises 84 credits distributed across eight terms, with a progressive structure that moves from foundational learning to specialization and experiential application:

  • Core Courses – 48 Credits (Terms I–IV): Provide a strong foundation in key management concepts and functional areas.
  • Elective Courses – 30 Credits (Terms V–VII): Offer opportunities for specialization and allow participants to pursue areas aligned with their academic and professional interests.
  • Field Project – 6 Credits (Term VIII): Provides an opportunity to apply classroom learning to a practical, organizational, or industry-oriented context.

Each credit corresponds to 10 hours of classroom teaching. Courses are offered in 3-credit (30 hours) or 1.5-credit (15 hours) formats. Each term, extending up to three months, comprises 3–5 courses, with a maximum of 12 credits per term.

Overall, the programme structure is designed to provide a progressive and integrated learning experience, combining contemporary management education, specialized electives, and experiential learning to equip participants with knowledge and skills relevant to the evolving business environment.

In the second year, participants have the opportunity to personalise their learning journey through a diverse portfolio of electives through 300 instructional hours focused on applying AI and Analytics across key business domains such as Marketing, Finance, Human Resources, and Operations.

These electives enable participants to align their academic experience with their professional goals and interests while gaining domain-specific expertise in emerging, high-impact fields such as Marketing Analytics, FinTech, HR Analytics, and Digital Supply Chains.

Alongside electives, the curriculum places a strong emphasis on leadership development, strategic thinking, and decision-making capabilities, equipping participants to navigate complex business environments and lead transformation initiatives. Compulsory Field Project:

A key component of the second year is the Field / Real-Life Project, which provides participants with an opportunity to apply their learning in a real-world business context under faculty guidance.

The 6-credit Field Project, undertaken during Terms VII and VIII, provides participants with an opportunity to apply the knowledge and skills acquired throughout the programme to address a real-world business challenge. The project may be carried out within the participant’s own organisation or in another approved organisation. Participants are encouraged to adopt a multidisciplinary approach, integrating concepts from management and data science to develop practical, evidence-based solutions. The project is evaluated jointly by the Institute faculty and industry guide/mentor, ensuring both academic rigour and industry relevance.
