Dr. Ashis Sen is an Adjunct Professor in the Organizational Behaviour and Human Resource Management Area at IIM Nagpur. He has an overall experience of about 33 years in Engineering Project Execution, Supply and Distribution, Administration, Academics & Consultancy services. Previously he was working as General Manager – Capability Building at Hindusthan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL). He had joined HPCL in October 1984 and taken voluntary retirement from services in November 2016. In December 2016, Dr. Sen joined Larsen and Toubro as Head of Learning and Development and left the organization in July 2017.
Dr. Sen was also associated with institutions such as NMIMS Mumbai, TAPMI, IIM Kashipur, and TISS Mumbai as Visiting Faculty and Adjunct Professor.
Dr. Sen completed his Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical) from VNIT and holds a Ph. D in Human Resource Management from the University of Petroleum and Energy Studies, Dehradun.
His research interests are Emotional Intelligence, Leadership practices, Competency Assessment.
He has taught subjects such as Business leadership, Performance Management, Talent Management, Emotional intelligence, Learning and Development, Strategic HRM at the PG level.
