Devashis is Professor of Practice in the area of Organizational Behaviour and Human Resource Management, at IIM Nagpur. He obtained his Fellowship from MDI, Gurgaon, after having spent 7 years in corporate employment. He holds a Bachelor degree in Economics and Law from Utkal University, Odisha, besides a Masters in Personal Management & Labour Welfare from the same University. Post his Fellowship, Devashis joined back the corporate sector and worked in organizations like Reliance Retail, DDI (a US MNC in the consulting sector), and Aditya Birla Group.
His major work experiences and exposures are in the areas of designing and running assessment and development centres, leadership development, executive coaching, organizational effectiveness, talent management, POSH, investigating corporate fraud along with prevention, prohibition and consequence management, diversity and inclusion, employee wellness and employee engagement.

Professor Rath has extensive exposure to executive education and providing consulting services to many large Indian corporate houses as well as MNCs operating in India and middle east. In his role as a Sr. Consultant at Development Dimensions International [DDI], a Pittsburgh based Talent Management & Leadership Development Consulting firm, Prof. Rath has designed and conducted assessment and development centres for sundry organizations.
As a certified Behavioural Event Interviewer and Master Trainer for DDI he has trained many CEOs and their one downs on the techniques of selecting ‘A’ raters.
As a certified Facilitation Skills Master Trainer of DDI he has conducted several Train the Trainer workshops besides delivering leadership development workshops for many marquee organizations in India and Saudi Arabia and Dubai.
He was also an executive coach for DDI had the pleasure of coaching few Managing Directors and Country Heads of MNCs operating in India.
As a HR practitioner, Prof. Rath has held several administrative positions in course of his corporate journey.
