Professor Swamy Perumandla is a faculty member and the chairperson of the Finance & Accounting Area at IIM Nagpur (IIMN), India. He has over ten years of teaching and research experience at various management institutes in India. Prior to his joining at IIM Nagpur, he held the position of Assistant Professor at VIT Business School, Vellore Institute of Technology. Dr. Swamy obtained his doctorate (Ph.D.) from the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Warangal. He also qualified for the National Eligibility Test (NET). He is certified as an IICA (Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs) Resource Person. Additionally, he served as a SEBI empaneled financial education Resource Person. In the finance discipline, three doctoral candidates have completed their Ph.D. studies under the supervision of Dr. Swamy. His teaching and research interests encompass Financial Markets, Behavioral Finance, Corporate Finance, Financial Econometrics, Real Estate Economics, and Sustainable Finance. Professor Swamy has published several articles in international journals with ABDC rankings.
