Swamy Perumandla

Prof. Swamy Perumandla is Chairperson and Assistant Professor in the Finance and Accounting Area at Indian Institute of Management Nagpur (IIM Nagpur), Maharashtra, India. He has over 13 years of teaching, research, executive learning, and training experience at various management institutes in India. He earned his Ph.D. in Finance from the National Institute of Technology Warangal (NIT Warangal), India. He also qualified for the National Eligibility Test (NET). He is certified as an IICA (Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs) Resource Person. Additionally, he served as a SEBI empaneled financial education Resource Person. In the finance discipline, three doctoral candidates have completed their Ph.D. studies under the supervision of Dr. Perumandla. His research and teaching interests include Financial Econometrics, Sustainable Finance, Behavioral Finance, Investments, and Risk Management. He has published several research articles in reputed ABDC-ranked journals and actively contributes to research in the areas of financial markets, investor behavior, sustainability, and advanced quantitative methods in finance. His research focuses on understanding financial market dynamics, volatility modeling, sustainable investment practices, Risk Management and investor decision-making under uncertainty.
