“Show me a family of readers, and I will show you the people who move the world.”
Veda, the Literature Club of IIM Nagpur, is a place where stories breathe, where words are not just ink on paper but reflections of who we are and who we hope to become. Committed to fostering a culture of reading and promoting literary activities among students, our mission is to instill a lifelong passion for books in future managers by empowering them with critical thinking skills and nurturing their intellectual curiosity. This purpose shapes everything we do and defines our role in the IIMN community.
What began with a quiet love for books has grown into a space for readers, writers, dreamers, and thinkers. We believe literature isn’t just something we consume but a way of seeing, feeling, and understanding the world around us.
We celebrate all forms of literary expression, reading, writing, plays, poetry, storytelling, and language. We welcome books in many tongues and ideas in every shape. Our guest sessions with authors and industry leaders offer students a chance to interact with some of the most accomplished minds in the business world and gain insights into their experiences and perspectives. Every event, every debate, every conversation becomes a thread that binds us together.
Whether you read under blankets at midnight, scribble ideas in margins, or simply long for something meaningful, Veda is where you’ll find your people.
