Toastmasters @ IIM Nagpur which is a member club of Toastmasters International started with the enthusiastic participation of around forty students. The club has embarked on its journey of exchanging ideas and empowering individuals to become more effective communicators. The tracks offered as part of the club activities gives an opportunity to the students to further hone their leadership and communication skills. This platform offered to the students has helped them articulate their thoughts by giving regular speeches, listening to varied experiences and sharing constructive peer-to-peer feedback.
The world needs leaders. Leaders head families, coach teams, run businesses and mentor others. These leaders must not only accomplish but they also need to communicate properly their success stories with others. By regularly giving speeches, gaining feedback, leading teams and guiding others to achieve their goals in a supportive atmosphere, true leaders emerge from the Toastmasters program. Every Toastmasters journey begins with a single speech. It is during their journey that they learn to tell their stories. They listen and answer; plan and lead & learn to give feedback and accept it. Through their peers, they find their path to leadership.
The goal of Toastmasters @ IIM Nagpur is to empower individuals to become more effective communicators and leaders. We provide a supportive and positive learning experience in which members are empowered to develop communication and leadership skills, resulting in greater self-confidence and personal growth.
