Predixion, the Analytics Club of Indian Institute of Management Nagpur was honored to host Mr. Balu Srinivasan, Sr. Vice President and Chief Information Officer, TVS & Sons as a part of Talk Analytics’18 on 21st November 2018. The topic of discussion was ” IT Strategy in Digital era – Challenges faced while implementing IT solutions” which has given the audience a great opportunity to learn about the gaps between academia and industry with continuously evolving technologies. The discussion helped the participants learn and understand about the unique ideas of “Product as a Platform”, “Value is enhanced through Customer Experience”,” Broader view of products and technologies rather than Laser Focus”. The uniqueness of the session was in the interactive discussion that was carried throughout wherein most of the nuances in the real-world industry were discussed.
The entire session has helped students to give room to new avenues in defining the problem and understand the industry from a broader perspective.
