
Nagpur, August 9, 2024 | From August 5 to 9, 25 PGDM students of Karnatak Law Society’s Institute of Management Education and Research (KLS IMER) successfully completed a 5-day domestic immersion programme at IIM Nagpur. The programme was inaugurated by Dr. Prashant Gupta, Dean – Faculty, Academics & Alumni Affairs, IIM Nagpur, and Dr. Neha Garg, Chairperson – Domestic Immersion Programme, IIM Nagpur, on August 5.
Designed to foster value-driven leadership and entrepreneurial skills, IIM Nagpur’s residential programme provided participants with a first-hand experience of the Institution’s academic rigor, teaching pedagogy, and vibrant business culture. Over the course of five days, students engaged in a mix of in-class and experiential activities, deepening their understanding of business practices, industry trends, and the local ecosystem.
The programme featured interactions with industry leaders, visits to prominent enterprises, and insights into operational dynamics crucial for future business leaders. Key highlights included lectures on contemporary business trends, field visits to Tata Advanced Systems Limited and the Central Institute of Cotton Research, meetings with business leaders, participation in cultural events, and visits to historical sites, ensuring a comprehensive learning experience that bridged business education with cultural immersion.
At the conclusion of the programme, participants were awarded certificates of participation by Dr. Bhimaraya Metri, Director of IIM Nagpur, recognizing their successful completion of the domestic immersion programme.
