What a way to spend Independence day at IIM Nagpur!
Toastmasters’s Club was blessed to host Col Sanket Pande on its 51st meeting!

Col. Sanket Pande invigorated the spirit of public speaking and management among the budding orators of tomorrow. Through his masterful storytelling and a plethora of anecdotes, he successfully captured the essence of Toastmasters and brought immense value to the sacred podium!

Col. Pande effortlessly linked the Indian Army core values of integrity, loyalty and hard work to that of management virtues sought after by the audience of budding managers. He emphasized the importance of people skills and openness in order to truly become the best version of oneself.

He comprehensively talked about his contributions at the United Nations and gave invaluable insights on challenges and issues being faced by various ethnicities and races around the world and strongly advocated against harboring feelings of prejudice, biases, and hatred.

His truly diverse experiences of working in public, corporate and startups brought out numerous indispensable insights on the various types of industries and corporations and provided an insider glimpse into the corporate way of life.

A master of 7 languages himself, he encouraged the audience to pick up more social and linguistic skills and to truly try to understand different cultures they inhabit to be an effective manager.
