Dr Bhimaraya Metri (Director, IIM Nagpur), delivered the inaugural address at the 12th HEF Annual Convention organized by ITM Kharghar in association with BMA. The convention focused on ‘Future of Work: Competencies, Challenges, Preparedness and Road Map’. In his address, Dr Metri emphasized on the future of work and the workforce, disruption and changing contexts in education and industry, and evolving practices in the development of the workforce. He delved into the decrease in productivity, how the crisis has enabled recalibration by organizations, and how innovation is essential in the uncertain circumstances that we find ourselves in.The convention also saw insightful speeches by dignitaries such as Dr. AK Sengupta (Founder & Convener, HEF), Mr. Alok Sheopurkar (EVP & HR Head, HDFC AMC), Dr. Jawahar Surisetty (Advisor to Govt, TED Speaker), Dr. Lakshmi Mohan (Director, ITM Business School), Mr. Maheshwar Peri (Founder CEO, Careers 360), Prof RSS Mani (President, BMA & VP- ITM Business School), Mr. Rajeev Gupta (TED Kankem), Dr. Sanjay Muthal (ED, Konepore Business & Leadership Solutions), Mr. Ashwin Bhadri (Founder & CEO, Equinox Labs) and Ms. Uma Rao (VP HR, Ashok Leyland).
