As part of EBSB – Ek Bharat Sreshtha Bharat initiative by Government of India, The cultural exchange between states Maharashtra and Orissa has been successfully accomplished by IIM Nagpur in collaboration with IIM Sambalpur.
The programmes of the visit were precisely designed with an objective of imparting the culture and tradition of Maharashtra to the students from IIM Sambalpur. The plan involved visiting a few places in Nagpur which are central to its culture and tradition. They are Deekshabhoomi, Ganesh Tekdi Temple, Zero mile stone and Futala Lake. The students were also acquainted with classical Marathi music by attending a Classical concert at Persistent Ltd. Nagpur. The visit has finally ended with an interactive session with the students from both the batches of IIM Nagpur and students from IIM Sambalpur.
