IIM Nagpur had the pleasure to host Mr. Suyash Singh, founder of Avishkar Hyperloop on campus as a guest speaker on August 27th, 2019. He talked about the hyperloop technology and how it will be the 5th mode of transportation in the future. He also shared his learnings from SpaceX Hyperloop pod competition and his meeting with Elon Musk. Based on his experience of interacting with Elon Musk, Suyash recognizes him as a man of micromanagement and microdetails. Further, he talked about how they promoted themselves as a start-up and pitched for sponsorship by highlighting the fact that they are the first Asian team to go for the competition and the device is the first-ever self-propelled pod.
