IIM Nagpur continued its streak for its third batch by successfully completing the final placement for the Batch of 2017-19. All of the batch’s 55 students were placed by over 40 recruiters in sectors such as FMCD, Analytics, IT, Consulting, Logistics and others.
While the highest domestic annual package offered was Rs 20 lakhs, the average domestic package was Rs 12.35 lakhs. Sales & Marketing, Consulting, and Analytics were the most sought-after roles, closely followed by Finance, and Operations, among students. Offers in Consulting sector increased by thirty-seven percent.
“I am happy that this year too our graduating batch found challenging careers openings of their choice from the campus. I am confident that the education and personality development that they experience during their study time here would go a long way in putting them in good stead in their future journey,” said Prof. L S Murty, Director, Indian Institute of Management Nagpur.
