IIM Nagpur and Sri Sri University Signed MOU to Promote Leadership Rooted in Spirituality and Indian Knowledge System.Sep 15, 2025

Nagpur, September 12, 2025, | Indian Institute of Management Nagpur (IIM Nagpur) and Sri Sri University (SSU), Cuttack, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on 11th September 2025 to collaborate on academic and research initiatives that integrate modern management with India’s spiritual and cultural heritage.

The partnership will focus on: Developing case studies on the work of Sri Sri Ravi Shankar Ji and his contributions to leadership and social transformation. Designing executive education programs embedding spirituality with transformational leadership. Promoting Indian Knowledge Systems (IKS) by blending ancient wisdom with contemporary management practices. Exploring insights from the Art of Living International Center, Bangalore Ashram in areas such as wellness, meditation, and holistic leadership. 

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Bhimaraya Metri, Director of IIM Nagpur, said: “This collaboration reflects our commitment to nurture leaders who are not only skilled but also value-driven and socially conscious. By integrating spirituality, Indian Knowledge Systems, and executive education into management, we aim to create leaders who can inspire holistic, ethical, and sustainable transformation.”

Prof. Rajita Kulkarni, President, Sri Sri University, said: “We are delighted to join hands with IIM Nagpur for this meaningful collaboration. This partnership will help us reimagine education by bringing spirituality, Indian Knowledge Systems, and management together in one powerful framework for holistic leadership.” 

 

This collaboration will create new opportunities for research, executive learning, and knowledge exchange, while highlighting India’s unique contribution to global education and leadership.

 

Prof. Prashant Gupta (Dean – Faculty & Academics), Prof. Alok Kumar Singh (Dean – Executive Education) and Prof. Sujeet Kumar Sharma (Dean – Research, Sponsored & Smart projects & PhD.), were also present at the MoU signing ceremony.
