Nagpur, July 12, 2024 | The Indian Institute of Management Nagpur (IIMN) organized a significant Exposure Visit for 40 CBSE School Principals out of 67 nominated from 15 States Nationwide on July 11 & 12, 2024. This two-day program aligns with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, which emphasizes integrating skill education into school and higher education by connecting with the Institutions of Eminence. Thus, the Exposure Visit was designed.
Dr. Bhimraya Metri, Director, IIM Nagpur, said that “such initiatives have the potential to bring a renaissance in the School Education System as well-prepared Principals will be eager to inculcate the best practices in their respective schools for a new dawn. It is certainly going to leave an impeccable impact.”
“The Exposure Visit is expected to infuse enthusiasm and renewed energy among the School Leaders. The participants will be inspired to motivate teachers and students. More importantly, the visit will foster a deeper understanding of the educational landscape beyond their schools, thereby enriching their educational perspectives,” Dr. Metri further remarked.
Dr. Shailendra Nigam, Chairperson, Career Development Services at IIM Nagpur, appreciated this initiative and said that such strategies would prepare the Schools’ Leadership for early preparation of students to accomplish future goals with extensive exposure and guidance.
