IIMN Director Urges Mahatma Gandhi National Fellowship Programme participants to be the change mastersMar 17, 2022

IIM Nagpur conducted the second academic module under the Mahatma Gandhi National Fellowship Programme (MGNF) 2021-23 for the fellows in its new state-of-art campus, MIHAN on March 17, 2022.
MGNF, a two-year certificate programme, aims to create a cadre of individuals to strengthen the functioning of national and state institutions in design and management of effective skilling, training, and employment ecosystem. The candidates will combine passion for development and will be able to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
“Success comes with planning, exhibition and with everybody’s contribution, which includes people working in the backend as well”, said Dr. Bhimaraya Metri, Director, IIM Nagpur while motivating the participants during an interactive session with participants. “You will be the change masters to lead the unknown roles and come out successful,” he continued further.
“Always be MAD – Make a difference. Unless and until you are not MAD you will never bring about a change. Always think big like our great leaders”, he advised. “Aim for three things in life, be a leader, learn management and have an entrepreneurial mindset,”he added.
MGNF is a work bank assisted programme under SANKALP (Skill Acquisition and Knowledge Awareness for Livelihood Promotion). IIM Nagpur is the academic partner with the Ministry of Skill development and entrepreneurship (MSDE) for the implementation of the phase II of the MGNF programme. Upon successful completion of the programme, the fellows will be awarded a certificate in Public Policy and Management.
