Nagpur | August 15: “Entire world recognizes India as the leading country. We are a global power now,” said Dr. Bhimaraya Metri, Director IIM Nagpur, during the 77th Independence Day celebrations held on the Institute’s campus on Tuesday. The Director hoisted the Tricolour in the presence of Lt. Col Makarand Alur (Retd), the Chief Administrative Officer, faculty, staff members, and the students.

Prompting his students that they have a more significant role in the nation’s development, Dr. Metri insisted that the youths are the architect of new India and should place the nation and their Institute before and above everything. “Don’t compare and don’t complain. Do your job sincerely,” he advised. He concluded by insisting that you compete with yourself and give the best of the best to ensure that you and your nation remain at the top of the top.
