IIM Nagpur was delighted to host Mr. Hari T.N., Head of HR at BigBasket, for an insightful and engaging discussion on his book, “Saying No to Jugaad: The Making of BigBasket”, in collaboration with @citybookleaders.
The session was initiated by Prof Ranjitha GP who introduced the honorable guest Mr. Hari T.N. She further spoke about his book ‘Saying No to Jugaad’ and how the book is a must read.
In the session, Mr. Hari T.N. spoke about character, ethics, value-based leadership, and long-term visions. Big basket was one of the first ones to provide a supply chain for fruits and vegetables. No matter how difficult it was to thrive, the company had to tackle the pain point, which it did.
The consumption pattern of India is changing at a rapid pace. People are now consuming protein and millet more. Big Basket quickly prepared itself for such a dynamic shift and responded by providing various options to its customers. Such a customer-centric approach has been pivotal in capturing customers and helping retain customers.
