IIM Nagpur was delighted to host Mr. Sandeep Aggarwal, Founder Droom & Shopclues, for an insightful and engaging discussion on his book, ‘Fall again, rise again’, in collaboration with @citybookleaders.
Dr. Bhimraya Metri, Director, IIM Nagpur welcomed Mr. Aggarwal to the session. Talking about the democratization of entrepreneurship in India, Mr. Aggarwal lauded the upcoming first-generation entrepreneurs for their contribution to growth in wealth creation from $3 billion to $300 billion in the past decade. He further shared his own entrepreneurial journey of founding two very successful start-ups after leaving a lucrative Silicon Valley career as a Wallstreet analyst and how he emerged strong through a traumatizing personal crisis.
Mr. Aggarwal also talked about the potential of the digital economy’s multi-decade bull run to create a trillion-dollar economy out of India. He delineated ‘student of learning’ and ‘power of prototype’ as the two important factors in the success of any person.
