IIM Nagpur was delighted to host Mr. Priyank Vajpai, Deputy Director Global Talent Acquisition PepsiCo GBS, for the inaugural session of our flagship Leadership Webinar Series – VIHAAN 2.0. The theme of the discussion was Skill Development, People Management and New age of permanent Work from Home’.
The discussion started with Mr. Priyank expressing his views about the work from home culture, and he helped build a unique perspective about the hybrid working model. He touched upon key parameters such as sense of belonging, remote hiring and significance of data in making decisions.
He summarized the role of analytics in HR, covering how it helps find the candidates fit for the role, as well as parameters such as the attrition rate and dropout rate. He also emphasized that it is never too late to enter the analytics field, which offers a wide array of learning opportunities. He encouraged students to learn new skills to adapt to the changing environments in the areas that interest them.
