IIM Nagpur hosted Mr Ashish Vidyarthi as a Keynote Speaker as part of our Orientation Programme for PGP 2021-23. The topic of his address was ‘Welcome to the Future’.
Mr Ashish Vidyarthi is a National Award-winning Actor and Founder, Ashish Vidyarthi and Associates – Avid Miner. In an engaging address, Mr Vidyarthi spoke about the opportunities granted to the students as members of the IIM Nagpur community as a privilege. He appealed to them to make the most of their time here, sharing that the learning the students could garner in the institution would benefit them for life. He also advised students to make the most of their possibilities, thinking about what could be achieved with the resources at hand instead of lamenting the lack of other resources. He also emphasized that rejection of our own biases, and those of others’ judgments against us is key to growth. He interacted with students in a session moderated by Prof A R Papi Reddy, wherein he answered the students’ questions about dealing with compromise, setbacks and delivering our best in all situations.
