Over 40 mentors meet their mentees at the IIM Nagpur PMP conferenceDec 6, 2022

Nagpur, December 3 | Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Nagpur hosted the Mentor-Mentee meet as a part of the first of its kind course, the ‘Professional Management Practice’ (PMP) on Saturday. Over 40 stalwarts from all across the industry were invited to be a part of the meet and enlighten students with their professional development journeys.

PMP course is designed to arm first-year MBA students with managerial/leadership attributes essential for success as they start their careers in the corporate world. This, one of its kind course was initiated to help the students to be near perfect ‘corporate ready’ by listening to their mentor’s crucible experiences, insights, and life stories.
Unlike other courses, PMP focuses on developing attributes through self-awareness, self-reflection, and experiential learning individually as well as in groups through Action Learning Projects. Furthermore, it has an element of structured mentoring from industry leaders throughout their development journey.

The genesis of this program is to orient students towards self-learning and for students to take accountability for their own development areas and work intentionally towards honing their skills into more holistic, corporate-ready professionals.
