IIM Nagpur successfully concluded its final session of Utkarsh, the HR Conclave, Season 2019 on 4th August where industry leaders from Karvy, CavinKare and MasterCard came together for an enriching panel discussion on “VUCA World & Rebuilding Employee Skills – the Role of HR in an Organization’s Strategy”. The students gained wonderful insights on innovative ways in which organizations are engaging employees towards incorporating learning space at the workplace. It brought to light the significance of agility in upgrading one’s skill-sets with changing industrial and technological demands. The students fathomed the challenges faced by an HR leader in overcoming the incessant winds of volatility, uncertainty, complexity, and ambiguity. The interactive spirit of the esteemed guests, faculty and students alike helped refine the great responsibility shouldered by talent development leadership in preparing the organization’s workforce for the future.
