National Youth Day Celebrations

“Take risks in your life. If you win, you can lead, if you lose, you can guide.”
– Swami Vivekanand

India is one of the youngest countries in the world with more than 62% of the population in the working age group (15-59 years) and more than 54% of the total population below 25 years of age. At the young age of 30 years, Swami Vivekananda swayed the global audiences with his Parliament of Religions Speech in Chicago. That’s when the world realised India is not a land of snake charmers, but a land of knowledge and wisdom. Swami Vivekanand is an inspiration for the youth in India. On the occasion of National Youth Day, we would like to pay our tributes to the real youth icon, Swami Vivekanand.

To celebrate this occasion, Swaviskaar, The Arts community of IIM Nagpur, conducted an Article Writing competition (in the form of essays, stories, poems, or any other written content depicting ideas & principles of Swamiji) and Visual Content creation competition (in the form of painting, photography, short video, animation, collage, or any other form of visual content depicting ideas & principles of Swamiji) within the IIM Nagpur community to commemorate & disseminate the ideas of Swamiji. Sharing a few of the entries in the image gallery.
