IIM Nagpur was delighted to host Mr. Vishal Bansal – Talent Acquisition Lead at HP Inc., and Mr. Gaurav Patwardhan – Sr. VP & Regional Business Head, Indiabulls Consumer Finance, for the third session of our flagship webinar series – Vihaan.
The theme of Mr Bansal’s speech was “Post COVID-19: Organizational best practices and evolving skill sets.” He discussed how HP supported its employees and prepared itself for tackling the COVID situation. He touched upon how one needs to identify the shifts occurring in the industry and look out for changing trends. He also highlighted some of the biggest trends going forward, and the impact it would have on key stakeholders. The Institute is grateful to Mr. Vishal and HP for an excellent session. The second webinar in the session was conducted by Mr. Gaurav Patwardhan – Sr. VP & Regional Business Head, Indiabulls Consumer Finance.
The theme for the discussion was “How to overcome career challenges post COVID-19 phase by upskilling ourselves.” Mr Patwardhan discussed the current pandemic and the prevailing uncertainty clouding the business world. He enlightened the students about the various sales roles that are bound to play a major role in the immediate future. He advocated a flexible approach for individuals with a focus on sectors such as healthcare and consulting revival which will play an important role in reversing the losses and getting the businesses back on track.
