The topic for the discussion was “Coping with COVID-19: Consulting Sector Perspective”.
Mr Nijhara discussed how COVID-19 has disrupted the global supply chains and impacted the modern economy in the form of low productivity, weak consumer demand and unemployment. He explained how the business strategy, revenue-generating aspects and working practices need to be revamped with frequent assessment and adjustment. Given his vast experience, Mr Nijhara also suggested that businesses should focus on keeping operations afloat, protect revenues and cash flows and at the same time invest on sustaining client engagement and build capabilities to leverage the existing technologies.
