Nagpur: The Armed Forces Programme 2024 Batch of IIM Nagpur is excited to announce that it is going to host the Blood Donation Camp on June 07, 2024, at the IIM Nagpur Sports Complex in collaboration with Nashikrao Tirpude Blood Center, which supplies blood to the Military Hospital Kamptee Cantonment. The camp will ensure that all donations are conducted under stringent medical supervision and hygiene standards.
This noble initiative will reflect IIM Nagpur’s commitment to social responsibility and community service. In line with World Blood Donor Day on June 14, the event will address the critical need for blood donations.
The students, faculty, and staff members at IIM Nagpur are encouraged to participate in this life-saving cause. The process of blood donation involves a health check-up prior to donation, where the eligibility to donate will be assessed. If one is eligible, one will proceed to the donation area where a trained professional will collect the donor’s blood. After donation, the donor will be provided with light refreshments to help one recover.
