
Indian Institute of Management Nagpur is set to host the IIM Nagpur Media Conclave 2026, bringing together some of India’s leading voices from journalism, media management, business, public policy, technology, culture and social impact for a two-day dialogue on the changing media landscape and its role in shaping society.
The Conclave will explore how artificial intelligence, digital platforms, changing consumer behaviour and new forms of communication are transforming the media industry, while also examining the larger relationship between media, leadership, business and nation building.
The two-day programme will feature distinguished media leaders, senior journalists, policymakers, business leaders, Padma awardees and experts from diverse fields.
A Distinguished Line-up of Speakers
The Conclave will feature Shri Vijay Joshi, CEO and Editor-in-Chief of Press Trust of India (PTI); Shri A. K. Bhattacharya, Editorial Director, Business Standard; Shri Deepak Dwivedi, Founder and Editor-in-Chief of BW Businessworld; Shri Madhuker Upadhyay, former editor of BBC Hindi; Shri Anant Vijay, Associate Editor, Jagran Group; Ms Sarita Kaushik, Executive Editor, ABP News; and Shri Sanjay Tiwari, Group Editor, Navbharat, among other eminent speakers.
The Conclave will also bring perspectives from the corporate and technology sectors, including Shri Pradyumna Ingle, Country President, Henkel India and Global Head – Infrastructure Protection & Repair, Henkel, and Shri Amit Waikar, leading global cultural ambassador of India and cultural activist, and President – South East Asia, Momentive Performance Materials Limited.

The session will feature Shri Nitin Gadkari, Hon’ble Union Minister for Road Transport & Highways, who will speak on “From the Podium to the Platform: How Digital Media is Changing Leadership and Public Communication.”
Shri B. Prabhakaran, Managing Director, Lloyds Metals & Energy Ltd., will speak on “Winning Trust, Transforming Communities: The Lloyds Model of Communication and Social Impact.”
IIM Nagpur Director Dr Bhimaraya Metri will give an introductory remark.
