Finesse club, IIM Nagpur, was delighted to organize a virtual session with Mr. Vidhu Shekhar, CFA Institute Head, India, as part of Fintalks’20. The session was about Investment Management & the CFA Programme.
Mr. Vidhu briefed attendees about careers in investment management and roles in the buy-side & sell-side of the industry. He also taught the competency framework, which required the students to compete and build a strong knowledge in the financial sector. The speaker also described the process of the CFA examination and opportunities available for the CFA aspirants. Mr. Vidhu explained how technology is disrupting the investment management industry and new opportunities evolving from it.
