Rashtriya Ekta Diwas (National Unity Day) was announced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in 2014 to honor Vallabhbhai Patel, who is referred to as the man who united India. The day October 31 is observed as the ‘National Unity Day’ to commemorate the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel and to foster and reinforce our dedication to preserve and strengthen the unity, integrity, and security of our nation.
On the occasion, IIM Nagpur is organizing a ‘pledge taking ceremony’ in CR03 on Wednesday, Oct 31, from 4:00 PM – 4:15 PM. We request everyone to be a part of the pledge taking ceremony.
