Entrepreneurship Cell, IIM Nagpur successfully concluded the second edition of its flagship event, Entro-mile. The entrepreneurship conclave was aimed towards collaborating with investors, aspiring entrepreneurs, and business leaders to uncover the various aspects of an entrepreneurial journey. The theme for this edition was “The Social Surge.”
The event kickstarted with inaugural addresses from the guest of honor Prof. Ashit Sinha, IIMN Director Prof. L S Murty, and the IIMN Centre for Entrepreneurship Chairperson Prof. Saroj Kumar Pani. It was followed by individual speeches from the panelists – Mr. Rohit Nayyar, Mr. Proteek Kundu, Mr. Ravi Nayse and Mrs. Shilpa Maheshwari.The event also witnessed a panel discussion moderated by Prof. Thiagu Ranganathan on the topic, “Role of technology in the transformation of social entrepreneurship”.
The session advanced with pitches by founders/co-founders from various social sectors, wherein they presented their extraordinary initiatives that helped in bringing changes in people’s lives. It was an absolute delight to host Renovatio, De’haat foundation, Silaigram, Eco Friendly Living Foundation, Slum Soccer, Vikalpa’s Abhudaya Global Village school and Vruksh Ecosystem on this occasion.
