IIM Nagpur had the utmost pleasure of hosting Lieutenant General Rajendra Ramrao Nimbhorkar, PVSM, UYSM, AVSM, SM**, VSM, a former officer of the Indian Army who served as the Master General Ordnance (MGO) for a talk on ‘Managerial aspects of the Indian Army’. Addressing the managerial aspirations of the crowd he focussed his talk on the decision making conundrums and the risk taking ability associated with any position of power. Using past experiences from his life he exemplified the fact that leaders acquire a sixth sense which helps them intuitively guide towards the right direction.
Also sharing on his surgical strike experiences, he talked about the planning, rationale behind the decision, execution and the intangible benefits of the act.
