IIM Nagpur Celebrates 71st Republic DayJan 26, 2020

Republic Day-2020-1

The 71st Republic Day was celebrated at IIM Nagpur with the same zest and enthusiasm as one might feel at the Republic Day parade at Rajpath, New Delhi. This time the students of IIM Nagpur came up with new ideas to make Republic Day beautiful and memorable.
The event was organized by the students of Abhyudaya, the cultural committee at IIM Nagpur. The venue was decorated in tri colors and when people came dressed in pure white attire, it further added to the beauty.
The event started early in the morning with a parade led by the security guards, which was the most appreciated moment of the day because the security guards are the one that protect us and stay awake at night even during harsh winters. This was followed by flag hoisting and a performance by the students involving a number of spectacular dupatta formations.
Later, there were singing performances by the students, a Republic Day quiz and other cultural activities to give a platform to students and faculties to come together as one and enjoy. Professor L S Murty, director of IIM Nagpur, gave a speech of wisdom to students and faculty members to motivate them to bring about a change for the better, with a belief that the students of IIM Nagpur can make this country a better place.
