IIM Nagpur was pleased to host Mr. Gajanan S Rajmane, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Crime), Nagpur City, on the occasion of Constitution Day. The event commenced with a thought-provoking reflection on our Constitution by IIMN Director Prof LS Murty. Following his speech, Mr. Rajmane emphasized the greatness of the Indian Constitution and how it gives equal opportunity in life to all citizens of India. He enlightened students with his journey of how he joined the police force and how The Constitution of India played an essential role in his success. His resounding words on having a positive mindset in life and the importance of self-management in one’s success were very inspiring. Mr. Rajmane emphasized on the importance of police in our day to day life and also commemorated the martyrdom of Hemant Karkare, Ashok Kamte and Vijay Salaskar.
The event concluded with a pledge by all attendees on protecting the unity and integrity of the country as law-abiding citizens of India.
