A total of 25 PGDM second-year students from KLS IMER, Karnataka will participate in the week-long immersion program to be held at IIM Nagpur from August 5 th to 9 th 2024. Dr. Bhimaraya Metri, Director IIM Nagpur, will inaugurate the program on August 5 th at 11.00 am.
IIM Nagpur, which aims to create value-driven leaders; global managers; and entrepreneurs with strong conceptual foundations, has designed this face-to-face residential program to give these students a valuable opportunity to experience and learn from the rich business culture of IIM Nagpur and the vibrant city that surrounds it.
Throughout these 5 days, students will get a first-hand experience of life at IIM Nagpur by immersing themselves in its learning process, academic rigor, teaching pedagogy, and culture. Various in-class and outside-of-class experiences are designed to enhance their understanding of the business practices, industry trends, and the local ecosystem. At IIM Nagpur, we believe that true education extends beyond the confines of textbooks and lecture halls. It involves engaging with the community, understanding the challenges and opportunities that lie therein, and contributing meaningfully to societal development. This programme thus offers a unique platform for the students to interact with industry leaders, visit renowned enterprises, and gain insights into the operational and business dynamics.
Overall, the participating students will get an opportunity to attend lectures on contemporary trends and issues affecting business and industry, go on field visits to local plants and corporate
offices, meet business leaders, attend cultural events, and visit historical sites to establish a relationship between business and culture.
Participants, who attend the program with minimum attendance criteria as per IIM Nagpur’s policy, will be issued a certificate of participation at the end of the program.
